I jumped back on Stars last Friday, determined to clear my bonus. By Saturday night the deed was done. Final tally: -$285.90 over 3000-odd hands + $100 bonus = -$185.90 net. Quite a drag on my YTD chart.

The next day I withdrew all funds from Stars, returned to the safe havens of PokerRoom, and promptly won a $129 pot, boosted by a bizarre river play:
